About the Role

We are looking for a Software Engineer-II (Data Engineering) to contribute to the design, development, and optimization of our data platforms and pipelines. The ideal candidate will have 5–8 years of experience in data engineering, a passion for building scalable systems, and a proactive attitude towards solving challenges.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement efficient data pipelines and workflows to support analytics and business intelligence needs.

Build and maintain scalable data processing systems using tools like Apache Airflow and AWS services (e.g., S3, Glue, Redshift).

Develop and optimize ETL processes using Python and other relevant technologies.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data solutions with business goals.

Ensure data quality, reliability, and scalability through monitoring and proactive optimization.

Stay updated on emerging data technologies and suggest their adoption to enhance systems.

Qualifications

Experience: 5–8 years in data engineering, with hands-on experience in building and optimizing data pipelines.

Technical Proficiency:

Strong experience with Apache Airflow or similar workflow orchestration tools.

Familiarity with data storage and processing on AWS (e.g., S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift).

Proficiency in Python for data processing tasks.

Data Skills: Understanding of data modeling, ETL pipeline architecture, and best practices.

Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and align technical solutions with business needs.

Communication: Clear and effective communicator with a problem-solving mindset.

Preferred Skills

Exposure to tools like Apache Iceberg or reporting platforms such as Looker.

Interest in continuous learning and staying updated with the latest trends in data engineering.
