You will be working for the client that delivers Data Science and Artificial intelligence, Business Intelligence (BI) and Data Analytics, Data Lake/Data Warehouse Transformation, and Data Management services for its customers across the globe in Manufacturing, Retail, Travel, and Transportation domains and for Business Intelligence support services for BI product companies. 
 

Client is headquartered in Bangalore, and has an R & D centre in Helsinki and global offices in Europe (Budapest, Hungary), the USA (Dallas, Texas), the UK (London), Asia (KL, Malaysia), and the Middle East (Abu Dhabi, UAE).

Responsibilities:

1. Utilise Talend graphical development environment to design, develop, and deploy data integration solutions.
2. Build and maintain end-to-end data pipelines, including data ingestion, transformation, and loading processes.
3. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
4. Design and implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) or ELT processes to extract data from various sources, transform it according to business requirements, and load it into target systems.
5. Develop and execute SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyse data from databases.
6. Work closely with database administrators and data architects to understand database schemas and optimise data extraction processes.
7. Conduct data profiling and cleansing activities to ensure data quality and integrity.
8. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Talend ETL processes and data pipelines.
9. Document technical designs, configurations, and procedures for reference and knowledge sharing.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
2. Proven 5+ years of working experience with Talend Data Fabric, Data Preparation, and Data Steward components.
3. Strong understanding of data integration principles and techniques.
4. Proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating data in relational databases.
5. Experience in designing and implementing ETL or ELT processes.
6. Excellent communication skills with the ability to gather requirements and communicate technical concepts effectively.
7. Familiarity with database schemas and data modelling concepts.
8. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
9. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
