Job Description
Job Title: Senior Data Modeler
Location: Kolkata
Industry: Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI)
Experience: 7+ years Joining Preferences: Immediate joiners only
Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Data Modeler to join our dynamic team in the PL/SQL The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in data modeling, with a strong focus on SQL and PL/SQL. A deep understanding of dimension modeling is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities: ? Design, develop, and maintain complex data models for various business applications within the BFSI sector. ? Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into effective data models. ? Ensure data models are optimized for performance, scalability, and maintainability. ? Develop and implement data modeling standards, guidelines, and best practices. ? Conduct data analysis and profiling to ensure data quality and integrity. ? Work with ETL developers to ensure accurate and efficient data integration processes. ? Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior data modelers and other team members.
Qualifications: ? Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 7+years of experience in data modeling, preferably within the BFSI industry.
? Strong working knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL. ? Experience in Oracle is a must ? Proven experience with dimension modeling and data warehousing concepts. ? Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. ? Strong communication and interpersonal skills. ? Ability to work independently and as part of a team. ? Experience with data modeling tools such as ER/Studio, ERwin, or similar is a plus. ? Knowledge of big data technologies and cloud platforms is an advantage
