Job Description
Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Performance Tester to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and executing performance tests to ensure the scalability, stability, and reliability of our applications.
This role requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of performance testing methodologies, and the ability to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute performance test plans and test cases based on system requirements and architecture.
Design and implement performance testing scripts using industry-standard tool such as JMeter.
Must have experience in Kubernetes.
Analyze test results, identify performance bottlenecks, and provide recommendations for optimization.
Worked on APM tools like Dynatrace, AppDynamics etc.
Collaborate with developers, system administrators, and other stakeholders to resolve performance issues.
Monitor system performance using various monitoring tools and techniques.
Must have work experience in any cloud such as GCP or AWS or Azure.
Generate performance test reports and present findings to management.
Must have experience in performance Engineering concepts like RCA, JVM Tuning, Thread Dump or Heap Dump Analysis.
Participate in performance tuning and capacity planning activities.
Stay up-to-date with the latest performance testing trends and technologies.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of performance testing frameworks and best practices.
Qualifications:
5-8 years of experience in performance testing.
Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies and concepts.
Hands-on experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling.
Experience with performance monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, or New Relic.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Java, Python, or Groovy.
Solid understanding of database technologies and SQL.
Experience with cloud-based performance testing.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
