Job Title: Pega BPM Developer / Senior Developer
Client: Wipro Limited
Location: Bangalore / Chennai / Kolkata
Experience Level: 4 Years to 10 Years in Pega BPM
Joining: Immediate to 45 days
Certification: MUST be CSSA Certified (Certified Senior System Architect)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pega Developer with strong hands-on experience in SOAP and REST API integrations. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in core Pega concepts and demonstrate a deep understanding of integration techniques, troubleshooting, and real-time application communication. This role is critical due to Pega’s extensive integration with over 50 applications within the environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Work extensively on Pega integrations, with a strong focus on SOAP and REST APIs.
Apply knowledge of CSA and CSSA-level Pega concepts in real-world scenarios.
Design and implement solutions using Activities, Data Transforms, Decision Rules, and other Pega core features.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage integration with external systems.
Troubleshoot integration and performance issues with precision.
Utilize case management capabilities within Pega effectively.
Demonstrate strong debugging and performance tuning skills (especially for senior roles).
Contribute to performance optimization and issue resolution in large-scale environments.
Required Skills:
Pega CSA/CSSA certification is mandatory.
Must have hands-on experience in integrating Pega applications with external systems using SOAP and REST APIs.
Strong understanding of Pega core concepts like Activities, DTs, Decision rules, etc.
Good knowledge of Data Pages, caching mechanisms, and case lifecycle management.
Strong troubleshooting and debugging capabilities.
Experience in batch processing and handling large data volumes (preferred for senior roles).
Familiarity with SQL and understanding of basic database interactions.
Java/JavaScript experience is a plus.
Preferred but Not Mandatory:
Experience with specific frameworks, upgrades, implementations, or Pega Constellation.
Knowledge of Pega infrastructure and environment setup.
