Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Market Development
Drive sales of Bright Bars, Alloy Steel Rounds, Wire Rods, and CNC-ready bars.
Identify and develop new customers in Automobile OEMs, Tier-1s, Forging Units, Component Manufacturers, and Engineering Industries.
Achieve monthly & annual sales targets and ensure sustainable revenue growth.
Prepare sales forecasts, pricing analysis, and competitor benchmarking.
2. Customer Relationship & Key Account Management
Build long-term relationships with existing and new customers.
Manage OEM and Tier-1 product approvals, technical discussions, and business negotiations.
Provide timely technical/commercial support to customers to ensure repeat business.
Conduct customer visits, feedback sessions, and business review meetings.
3. Operations & Supply Chain Coordination
Coordinate with production, quality, logistics and planning teams to ensure timely deliveries.
Monitor stock levels, dispatch planning, material allocation, and order execution.
Oversee stockyard operations (if applicable) to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
Resolve operational issues such as delivery delays, quality complaints, and material shortages.
4. Business Planning & Market Strategy
Develop annual business plans for target industries and regions.
Study market trends, competitor activities, customer demand and pricing patterns.
Recommend product mix positioning, new grades, and value-added solutions.
Propose strategic initiatives to increase Omega Bright Steel’s market share.
5. Commercial & Financial Responsibilities
Monitor payment collections and aging reports; ensure timely recovery of dues.
Support pricing decisions based on cost analysis and contribution margins.
Maintain accurate sales, order, and customer documentation.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with production teams for capacity planning and customer-specific requirements.
Support quality teams for technical audits and customer quality approvals.
Coordinate with logistics teams for transportation planning and dispatch optimization.
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong experience in Bright Bars, Alloy & Special Steels, and Automotive raw materials.
Knowledge of OEM processes, bright bar tolerances, and steel grades.
Strong business development & negotiation skills.
Ability to manage operations, supply chain, and customer expectations.
Excellent communication, technical understanding, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in MS Office, ERP & data management tools.
Education & Experience
MBA in Sales & Marketing preferred.
Minimum 14–15 years of experience in steel industry (Bright Bars / Alloy Steel / Wire Rods).
Experience handling OEMs, Tier-1s, Forging & Bright Bar industry customers is essential
