Job Title: Consultant – Real Estate Valuation
Location - Pan India
Experience - 1 year of relevant experience
Job Summary
We are seeking a Real Estate Valuation Consultant to support the Grant Thornton UK Valuations team from India. The role involves working closely with UK-based professionals to deliver high-quality real estate valuation services, financial analysis, and valuation models for a wide range of property assets.
Key Responsibilities
Support UK project teams in valuation of real estate assets such as:
Commercial offices
Residential / multi-family apartments
Land
Industrial properties and warehouses
Apply standard real estate valuation methodologies, including:
Discounted Cash Flow (DCF)
Income Capitalization Method
Sales Comparable Method
Collect and analyze:
Property sales data
Rental trends
Market and economic indicators
Analyze comparable properties to assess fair market value
Develop and maintain valuation and financial models (primarily in Excel)
Read and interpret financial statements for valuation purposes
Prepare structured deliverables, reports, and presentations as per project requirements
Provide insights based on research, client data, and sector analysis
Collaborate closely with UK and India teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery
Maintain high standards of documentation and compliance with organizational policies
Demonstrate a strong learning mindset and proactively seek new responsibilities
Preferred Skills & Experience
Exposure to real estate valuation or financial modelling
Understanding of valuation approaches and methodologies
Experience with financial reporting or valuation-related assignments
Strong understanding of Balance Sheet and financial statements
Skills & Competencies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent Excel skills (financial & valuation modelling)
Proficiency in PowerPoint and Word
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
Ability to work effectively with cross-border teams
Professional attitude with high energy and curiosity
