Job Title: Data Engineer – Dataiku / ETL / Python (Banking Domain)
Location: Bangalore / Chennai
Experience: 5.5 to 12 years
Notice Period: Immediate to 30 days
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in Dataiku, ETL tools, and Python development to join our banking domain projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in data integration, workflow automation, and delivering data-driven solutions that meet regulatory and business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform ETL operations using Dataiku and other ETL tools (e.g., Informatica).
Configure and optimize Dataiku architecture, including data connections, security, and workflow management.
Develop and maintain Dataiku recipes, Designer nodes, API nodes, and Automation nodes for deployment.
Write Python scripts to automate workflows and create custom solutions in Dataiku.
Collaborate with data analysts, business stakeholders, and clients to gather and interpret requirements.
Work on banking regulatory data integration and customer-specific solutions.
Execute SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
Manage version control using GIT and participate in deployments via Azure DevOps.
Ensure adherence to best practices, security, and performance optimization in data workflows.
Contribute to agile project delivery and support production deployment processes.
Required Skills & Experience:
7+ years total experience with at least 2+ years in Dataiku platform delivery.
Proven expertise in ETL development and tools like Informatica (preferred).
Strong coding skills in Python and SQL.
Experience in Data Engineering, Data Integration, and Data Analysis.
Banking domain knowledge and exposure to AI/ML or Data Science.
Hands-on experience in Dataiku recipes, automation, and deployment workflows.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with agile methodologies and collaboration tools.
